[ET Net News Agency, 26 March 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$113.79
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$21.42 billion, or 18.82% of the market's
turnover. There were 663 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.37 billion and HK$3.23 billion, or
15.75% and 15.09% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 43.57% and 43.08% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and KUAISHOU-W (01024) registered HK$987.73 million and HK$961.62
million of short sales, accounting for 4.61% and 4.49% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 18.09% and 27.41% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.06, or 0.25%, to HK$23.72. HSCEI ETF ended flat, to
HK$88.22. XIAOMI-W rose HK$0.65, or 1.22% to HK$54.05. KUAISHOU-W jumped HK$0.05, or
0.09%, to HK$56.85.
