[ET Net News Agency, 27 March 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$239.64
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$39.6 billion, or 16.52% of the market's
turnover. There were 712 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810)
saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.88 billion and HK$2.4 billion, or
9.79% and 6.05% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented
23.43% and 12.74% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF (02828) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$2.12 billion and HK$2.1 billion
of short sales, accounting for 5.36% and 5.3% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 19.19% and 40.96% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.1, or 0.42%, to HK$23.88. XIAOMI-W ended down HK$2.25, or
4.17%, to HK$51.7. HSCEI ETF rose HK$0.18, or 0.2% to HK$88.7. CSOP HS TECH jumped
HK$0.01, or 0.18%, to HK$5.46.
