[ET Net News Agency, 1 April 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was HK$126.44
billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.41 billion, or 12.19% of the market's
turnover. There were 683 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.55 billion and HK$719.21
million, or 10.08% and 4.67% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 56.27% and 7.45% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XPENG-W (09868) registered HK$695.58 million and HK$620.08 million of
short sales, accounting for 4.51% and 4.02% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 17.5% and 26.87% of respective stock's turnover.
CSOP HS TECH closed up HK$0.1, or 1.89%, to HK$5.38. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.22, or
0.94%, to HK$23.68. BABA-W rose HK$2.7, or 2.11% to HK$130.7. XPENG-W jumped HK$6.8, or
8.63%, to HK$85.6.
