TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF (02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.86 billion and HK$792.58 million, or 8.74% and 3.72% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 21.67% and 40.52% of respective stock's turnover.
AIA (01299) and CCB (00939) registered HK$792.39 million and HK$757.07 million of short sales, accounting for 3.72% and 3.55% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 23.63% and 7.22% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.45, or 2.41%, to HK$19.12. HSCEI ETF ended up HK$1.68, or 2.53%, to HK$68.04. AIA rose HK$1.4, or 2.23% to HK$64.2. CCB jumped HK$0.36, or 6.82%, to HK$5.64.
